Cranked the projection distance way past what my old fixed lens could handle, and the image stayed crisp edge to edge. The zoom ring has just the right amount of resistance, so dialing in the exact frame is a breeze. This is the first vario that hasn’t made me compromise on sharpness at the long end

I was worried about installing a vario-lens on my projector, but this one slid right in and the image stays perfectly sharp across the full zoom range, even at 110mm. Definitely handles those big projection distances without any light falloff.

Setup was ridiculously easy, and for a lens in this class the sharpness across the full zoom range is genuinely impressive. The iris clicks feel precise, which gives me real confidence during long projection sessions.
