BRAUN Compagno 8 x 26 WP

Took these on a rainy hike last weekend and the waterproofing held up perfectly—no fogging even after a sudden downpour. The 8x magnification is plenty for birdwatching, and the 118.6m field of view makes tracking moving targets feel effortless.

The 8x26 magnification is just right for getting a closer look at birds without the image shaking too much. Carrying it around my neck all afternoon never felt heavy or cumbersome.

Even in a light drizzle the view stayed crystal clear, which is exactly why I wanted a waterproof pair. The 118.6-meter field at 1000 meters makes scanning a hillside feel effortless, and the 26mm lenses keep it compact enough for my jacket pocket.
