BRAUN Kikare 10 - 30 x 60 Zoom

The zoom from 10x to 30x is smooth and the 60mm lens really pulls in light—even at dusk I could make out feather details on a heron across the lake. Focus ring takes a bit of getting used to, but once you find the sweet spot it's crisp.

Went birdwatching at the reservoir and the 60mm objective really pulled in the heron's feathers even at 30x, though I had to brace against a fence post for stability. The zoom ring is stiff but precise, and the 62m field at low power made scanning the treeline easy.

I was worried the zoom would make everything blurry, but even at 30x the image stays crisp. The 60mm lenses really help in low light, and the whole thing feels solid in my hands.
