BRAUN Compagno 8 x 34 WP

The 8x magnification is perfect for spotting birds, and the 124m field of view at 1000m makes scanning wide areas effortless. It's been great for evening walks — the clarity holds up even in low light.

Used it in a downpour on a recent hike and the waterproofing held up perfectly, optics stayed crystal clear. The 8x magnification strikes a great balance for birdwatching, not too shaky at all.

The 124m field of view at 1000m makes a real difference when I'm scanning treelines—I can pick out birds without constantly readjusting. Even with my glasses on, the focus ring turns smoothly enough that I catch quick movement without missing a beat. These have become my go-to for afternoon hikes.
