BRAUN Ultralit® Spektiv 15 – 45 x 60

I was surprised how easy it is to focus on a distant bird with just one hand; the optics are crisp enough to read a license plate at 300 yards. It's light enough to slip into my jacket pocket, which makes it perfect for hikes where I don't want to lug a tripod.

Even with the low light at dusk, I could still clearly make out the markings on a deer at over 100 meters — the glass is incredibly bright for such a compact body. The whole setup weighs almost nothing, which made carrying it around the nature reserve a breeze.

The image through the 15–45x zoom is impressively sharp even at the highest magnification, and the compact body makes it easy to carry on long walks. I’ve used it for birdwatching in the woods, and the clarity rivals much pricier scopes I’ve tried before.
