The microchip control gives me peace of mind that my batteries aren't being overcharged, and I appreciate that it can handle both lithium-ion and polymer packs.

Swapped out my old charger for this one and the microprocessor control actually makes a difference, the pack comes off noticeably cooler. It also handles both 110 and 240V, which was handy when I took it on a trip. Charges a bit slower than I'd like but I'd rather have it done right.

Bought this to charge my drone's LiPo packs and it handles the 4.25V and 8.55V modes without any fuss. The 110-240V input means I can plug it in on trips overseas too. Charges slower than my old one but the batteries come off cool every time.
