BRAUN Monocular 8 x 42

The 8x42 magnification is just right for birdwatching in my backyard—sharp and clear even in low light. I was surprised by how lightweight it feels for its size, and the 131m field of view makes scanning treetops effortless.

Took this on a rainy hike and the waterproofing held up perfectly, no fogging inside the lens at all. The 8x magnification with that 42mm objective pulls in plenty of light, even under tree cover, and the 131m field of view makes tracking birds feel effortless.

I was a little worried the 42mm lens would make it bulky, but it fits easily in my jacket pocket. The 131m field of view at 1000m is wide enough to track birds in flight without losing them. Perfect for my hiking trips.
